The distance within intimacy

This series traces the fragile balance between intimacy and self-protection — between the desire for closeness and the risk of harm.

At its center stands a singular red form, exposed and unresolved. Around it, black bodies proliferate, dividing and expanding into architectures of defense. Protection gradually becomes distance.

The works do not seek resolution. They remain suspended in tension — where warmth and danger coexist, and proximity is both necessity and threat.
